Creating Tech Opportunities on Kaua‘i, for Kaua‘i
Dev-Island is a nonprofit organization, brought together to equip Kaua‘i workers with tools for the emerging tech industry. After the pandemic, work became more dependent on technology than ever before. Remote work became a more viable option, creating the opportunity for high-paying careers that don't depend on location.
Dev-Island is focused on connecting Kaua‘i workforce with opportunities that have come from growth in the tech industry and new work practices.

Rich Uhl
President
Rich Uhl is an experienced technology executive passionate about building—teams, and solutions. Rich is the Founder and CTO of 1Strategy, Amazon Web Services (AWS) experts and implementation partners. Founded in July of 2015, Rich grew the 1Strategy to become an AWS Premier Partner (only 75 partners among 100,000+). In October of 2019, Rich sold 1Strategy to TEKsystems Global Services, a global IT services company. Rich will focus on business development and partnerships.
